Based on the memoir of the same name, The Happiest Man on Earth was a World Premiere play by Mark St. Germain staged in the St. Germain theatre at Barrington Stage Company in May of 2023. It told the true story of Eddie Jaku, a Holocaust survivor. It later returned by popular demand in September.
The show was a one man, one look Tour de Force I was Dresser/Wardrobe and took a great deal of care in making Kenneth Tigar, "Eddie Jaku", stage ready for such an intense show
The Auschwitz serial ID " 1 7 2 3 3 8" was applied with eyeliner pencil, matted down with anti-chafing powder gel, and set for every show so that later in the production, "Eddie" could reveal it. Post show I Laundered/ Repaired/ Maintained the look and integrity of the costumes
